What is a Slot Tournament?
Online slot tournaments, sometimes called ‘online casino tournaments’ are short-term events where players can pit themselves against other casino tournament players. Any Spin Genie member aged 18+ can take part in this casino feature, and tournaments can be ‘free roll’ (free-to-enter), or have an entry fee (known as ‘buy-in’).
Slot tournaments online can take place over a month, a week, or a single day, and can include multiple slots (that form a theme), or a single game (commonly a new release). The eligible game(s) will be featured in the T&Cs, and only spins on said games will count towards your tournament rank. The criteria for moving up the tournament ladder will also be outlined, as this could be the highest single payout achieved, the highest multiplier achieved, and so on; so always read them before playing so you know what to expect.
How Can I Get Involved With Slot Tournaments?
You can get involved with Spin Genie slot tournaments in three simple steps:
Enter the Tournament (Opt In): At Spin Genie we offer free roll and buy-in slot tournaments. You can find the current tournaments on the tournament tab of the Daily Picks section. For free roll tournaments you simply need to click the ‘join’ button to opt in, and for buy-in tournaments click ‘buy-in’. If you have the funds available in your account then the cost will immediately be deducted. Otherwise, you’ll be prompted to make a deposit. Any funds you deposit that exceed the tournament cost will be funded to your account.
Spin!: Once you’ve opted-in it’s time for the fun part! You’ll see a pop-up which will display the eligible game(s). Depending on the tournament criteria, you may have a time limit to achieve the best rank possible, or an allotted number of spins. Either way, get spinning and best of luck!
Check The Leaderboard: Unless otherwise stated, it is usually the payout value achieved from your spins which will determine your tournament rank. You can check where you’re at by visiting the tournaments tab, and the leaderboard is updated in real time. In the case of buy-in tournaments, if you play through your allotted spins and aren’t happy with your score, you can re-buy an entry but always do so with responsible gambling in mind.

What happens if I win a tournament?
If you win, firstly, congrats! Here’s what you need to know; after a tournament, prizes are immediately awarded to the winning participant. We will attempt to contact the recipients of physical prizes but if no response is received within 7 days, the winners will no longer be eligible for the award. If a winner chooses to accept a cash equivalent for a physical prize or the prize is out of stock, the cash equivalent is always worth 50% of the original value unless otherwise noted.
What is the minimum buy-in for the tournament?
